This is a Japanese inspired salmon dish! It looks and tastes delicious! It’s actually very simple to make and its perfect when served with rice, or when you feel like having a light healthy meal or seafood craving! I actually thought of this dish when I was back home in Sydney I went to the Sydney Fish markets and got a bit too Greedy and bought half a salmon instead of a few fillets! So with all the sashimi left over this was the perfect dish for it!

Ingredients
  1. 4 medium sized raw salmon fillets
  2. 1/4 cup olive oil
  3. 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  4. 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  5. 2 tbsp brown sugar
  6. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  7. 2 garlic cloves { grated }
  8. 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  9. 1-2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  10. 4 green onions { sliced }
  11. S E S A M E G I N G E R H O N E Y G L A Z E
  12. 1/4 cup honey
  13. 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  14. 1 tsp soy sauce
  15. 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger
  16. 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  17. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour over salmon.
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, vinegar, brown sugar and whisk well until combined.
  2. Add salmon to the dish or place everything in a ziplock bag, then refrigerate and marinate for 30 minutes
  3. Preheat a pan with olive oil, on medium to high heat.
  4. Remove salmon with kitchen tongs and place on the pan with sufficient space between each piece for flipping, as cooked salmon can fall apart very easily!
  5. Sprinkle with a little bit of salt and pepper, then cover with lid and cook for 10-15 minutes, depending on the salmon’s thickness, until opaque and can easily fall apart with a fork.
  6. Flip the salmon over after 10-15 min, this is the perfect colour and perfect texture you want on it! Now get the same on the other side.
  7. Remove and serve immediately! Drizzle generously with the glaze over the top.
  8. Then sprinkle with chopped green onions
  9. Then sprinkle sesame seeds
  10. SERVE IT UP!!!! I hope you enjoy it !
